Children are our future and family is the backbone of society. Traditional Marriage protects our children’s future and our children’s rights to a secure future. Bill C-38, which allows same sex marriage, hurts our children’s and families future. Traditional Marriage secures the future of our children and generations to come.
Marriage is a union between a man and a woman; without this union society would fall apart and lack the morals and values to give it a strong structure. A man and woman union produces generations to come. A man and man union or a woman and woman union cannot produce children and families and would annihilate future generations.
Children have rights. Children are the silent majority. Children are born to have the right to a Traditional Family of a Mother and Father. They have the right to natural cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. Allowing same sex marriage would deny children inappropriate role models for marriage and family.
Who is Mommy and who is Daddy? In a man and man union, who would take on the role of Mother and who would take on the role of Father or would they switch roles from time to time? Is a female and female marriage an example for our children? Who would play Mommy and who would play Daddy if they adopted children? Our children are confused! To grant homosexuals marriage is also granting the right to adopt children. Children need traditional role models for marriage and to be raised by a Mother and a Father. Children have the right to both a female Mother and male Father in the family unit.
Canada is a member of The United Nations and The U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child states: In all actions concerning children, whether undertaken by public or private social welfare institutions, courts of law, administrative authorities or legislative bodies, the best interest of the child shall be a primary consideration. (Article 3) The best interest and welfare of children should always take precedent over adults’ choice of lifestyle. Children need the structure and stability of Traditional Marriage. Children are vulnerable and need the security and structure of Traditional Marriage. Children must always be top on our priority list when redefining marriage is concerned.
Children have the right to a future and security for the future. A Traditional Marriage gives children a blanket of security of hope for the future. To take away the structure of Traditional Marriage from society is to take away families and children’s rights to a secure future. Male and female children need both a female Mother and a male Father to give them love, guidance, role models, structure, security and protection. Same sex marriage violates our children’s future.
Traditional Marriage is the backbone to society and to change this would destroy our children and society’s future. Children have the right to a family unit of a male Father and a female Mother. Traditional Marriage guarantees a female Mother and a male Father, relatives and the cohesiveness of a Traditional Marriage. A man’s nature is innately different than a female’s nature. The two are joined together for completeness and for protection, procreation and to make a family unit complete. In a same sex marriage the child would lose the right to a female Mother and a male Father.
Children have the right to a Family Tree. In Traditional Marriage, there is a Family Tree of generations of relatives. There is no Family Tree, or generations to come in same sex marriage. Children would lose the right to have generations of relatives in same sex marriage. Children will lose their birthright to a Mother and a Father, Grandmother and Grandfather and other relatives in same sex marriage. Young children in this society are confused and cannot possibly comprehend a man and man or a woman and woman getting married as it is not natural.
Children need the protection and guidance of both a Father and Mother. They need the Umbrella of protection of a Family, for the rest of their lives.
Each child's birthright is a male Father and a female Mother. All children need both a Mother and Father for guidance, love and protection. Ideally, children would have both biological Parents until adult life.
Children, are our Future and we need to give them security and stability. Children need a Traditional Family to give them natural role models, security and stability.
Children, also need the instruction and guidance of God. Years ago, when God was the Centre of many Families and our School system we did not have the divorce rates, violence, sexual promiscuity and crime that we have in today's world.
In the Forties, Fifties and Sixties, each School day would start with the Lord's Prayer.

Give us this Day Our Daily Bread
And Forgive Us Our Trespasses
As We Forgive Those Against Us

Every morning, in school this was said out loud. No wonder our children were more respectful, forgiving and less likely to get into crime and violence.
